Privacy Policy

Effective June 12, 2026.

What we store

Account data: email address (if you register with email), Steam ID (if you sign in with Steam), Discord ID (if you link Discord), display name, and password hashes (scrypt — never plaintext). Launch-list signups: the email you submit. Appearance preferences. Standard server logs (IP, user agent) kept for security and rotated.

What we don't do

No advertising trackers, no analytics beyond our own server logs, no selling or sharing of personal data. Cookies are used only for your session and your theme preference.

Shared account

Your account is shared with rust-mapmaker.com and rust-metrics.com (all Cynic Network products). Signing in on one does not sign you in on the others without your action.

Email hello@carbide.gg to access or delete your account data, or to be removed from the launch list.
